RN, AHN-BC, FAAN, is distinguished professor of nursing and Murchinson-Scoville Chair in Caring Science at the University of Colorado Denver and Anschutz Medical Center, and founder and executive director of the Watson Caring Science Institute, The only true standard of greatness of any civilization is our sense of social and moral responsibility in translating material wealth to human values and achieving our fuli potential as a caring society.
